Keith began his career in the securities industry in 1984 with Legg Mason in Williamsburg, Virginia as a Financial Advisor. Two years later, he decided to join the Kilmarnock office of Advest, a Connecticut-based investment firm, to better serve his growing clientele in the Northern Neck area. Keith was presented with an opportunity to join Davenport & Company in 1992 to help establish its Gloucester office, where he later joined forces with Jay Black and formed the Tri-River Investment Group of Davenport & Company LLC. Keith was promoted to Branch Manager and was later asked to establish an office in White Stone. Over the course of the next two years, as Keith helped to grow the office and his group practice, he hired Kathy Pittman to support his team and to serve as the Branch Office Administrator. In October 2016, Keith relinquished his role as Branch Manager so that he could concentrate solely on serving his clients.
Keith is Series 7, 8, 24, 63, and 65 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products. He attended the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Keith has been very active in the community, He has served as past President of the Mathews County Rotary Club and the White Stone Business Association. He has also a previous board member of the Rappahannock General Hospital Foundation, Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of Governors for the Boat Club LTD. In his spare time, Keith enjoys boating and off-shore tournament fishing. He and his wife, Tammy, have two sons.

Jay Black began his career in financial services with First Virginia Bank – Commonwealth in Urbanna, Virginia as a Management Trainee in 1988. Shortly thereafter, he was recruited by Dominion Bank in Hayes, Virginia to become Assistant Branch Manager and Consumer Loan Officer. Building on his banking experience, Jay joined Wheat, First Securities in Williamsburg, Virginia as a Financial Consultant in 1991. A year later, he was presented with an opportunity to help establish the Gloucester office of Davenport & Company LLC. While growing his financial practice over the next year and a half, Jay joined Keith Hudgins to form the Tri-River Investment Group . In 2000, Jay moved his practice full time to the firm’s White Stone office, where he later became Associate Branch Manager. In October 2016, Jay relinquished his role as Associate Branch Manager so that he could concentrate solely on serving his clients.
Jay holds his Series 7, 8, 63 and 65 registrations with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Philosophy from the College of William & Mary.
Jay strongly believes in giving back to the community and has served in a number of leadership roles, including President of the Rotary Club of Mathews and Founding Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mathews Community Foundation. Jay was elected to two terms on the Mathews County Board of Supervisors, serving a total of eight years — two as Vice Chairman and two as Chairman during his tenure. In that capacity, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Association of Counties. Jay is a member of Kingston Parish Christ Episcopal Church in Mathews and served on its Finance and Endowment Fund committees, consecutively, for more than a decade. A native of Mathews, Jay and his wife Lori reside in Moon. Outside of work, Jay enjoys fly fishing the trout streams of Virginia.

Sherry began her career in the financial services industry in 1976 with Cecil, Waller & Sterling in Kilmarnock, Virginia. The firm was sold to Advest, Inc. in 1981. In 1992 she joined the Robert Thomas Securities division of Raymond James, working with them until 1995 when she was asked to help establish the White Stone office of Davenport & Co. Since that time, Sherry has been promoted to First Vice President–Investments, and after serving clients as an individual advisor, joined her practice with the Tri-River Investment Group of Davenport & Company in October of 2016. She holds her Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 registrations with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products.
She is a graduate of the Braxton School of Business. Sherry has enjoyed serving her community throughout the years, including roles as PTA President for Lancaster Middle School, President of the Lancaster Band Boosters, President of Lancaster Community Library, and Board Member of Kilmarnock-Irvington-White Stone Rotary Club. She is a Past Board Member of the Northern Neck Montessori School and Past Treasurer of the Northern Neck Land Conservancy. She attends Rappahannock Church of Christ where she serves on the Quilt Ministry, Greeters Ministry and Counting Committee.

Josh joined Davenport and the Tri-River Investment Group as an Investment Trainee in 2020. He quickly completed the required exams to become Financial Advisor. He holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products.
Josh graduated magna cum laude from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He worked as an intern in 2018 with Davenport’s Central Supervision department and did a second internship the following summer at Davenport in the firm’s Kilmarnock branch. He is an avid golfer and enjoys fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding waters. He is also a lifelong attendee of Coan Baptist Church in Heathsville, Virginia.
Associate Vice President — Client Services

Pam began her career as a Labor & Employment Paralegal at Williams Mullen and was previously associated with Davenport in the early 2000s. In 2014, she rejoined Davenport with the Tri-River Investment Group as a Client Service Associate. Pam is responsible for handling client requests, processing new accounts and incoming transfers, retirement plan distributions, reviewing daily account transactions, and managing account cash requirements.
Pam is a 1994 graduate of East Carolina University. When not helping clients and associates develop plans to achieve their financial goals, Pam enjoys cheering on her children at sporting events and spending time with family. Pam currently serves on the Holly Ball Committee, which hosts an Annual Ball (established in 1895) that provides funding to support The Tidewater Foundation and the grants it provides for organizations and entities in and around the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. Pam has served on this committee since 2010. She resides in Heathsville with her husband, John, and their three children, Jordan, Latney, and MaryClare.

Maeghaen began her career in outside media sales locally in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. She joined Davenport & Company in October 2021 as a Client Service Associate and quickly earned her Series 7 and Series 66 registrations with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). As part of the Tri-River Investment Group, Maeghaen assists with new account opening, transfers, day-to-day transactions, and assisting clients.
Maeghaen is a 2006 graduate of Virginia Intermont College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Studies. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, and cooking. Maeghaen resides in White Stone with her husband, Jack, and sons, Otto and Brody.
