Executive Vice President–Investments
Bob joined Davenport in 1988 and was initially responsible for the firm’s corporate finance efforts in connection with capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial advisory services. He served as Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2017. Prior to joining Davenport, he was a licensed CPA and partner with KPMG.
Bob holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is registered as a General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations Principal, Direct Participations Programs Principal, and Registered Investment Advisor Representative. He is a current member of Davenport’s Board of Directors and the Executive, Risk, and Commitment committees. He is also a director of Davenport Trust Company and serves on the Management Committee of three private investment companies managed by Davenport & Company. Bob is Series 7, 24, 27, 39, 63 and 65 registered with FINRA.
An honors graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Bob received his B.S. degree in Commerce (concentration in accounting).
Senior Vice President - Investments
Daniel joined Davenport in October 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Assistant Vice President with C&F Bank, where his responsibilities included asset/liability management, acquisitions and special projects.
Daniel earned a B.S. degree in Financial Management (with a minor in Accounting) from Clemson University in 2008. He is also a 2012 graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation in 2017 and he is licensed to sell insurance and annuity products.

Livi joined Davenport in March 2024. Prior to joining Davenport, she worked at Vaught, Spangler & Associates. Her passion for making a difference in the lives of others makes her a wonderful addition to Davenport’s business. Livi was born and raised in Chesterfield County. She graduated from Mars Hill University with a Business degree in Finance and Economics and a concentration in Management. While attending Mars Hill University, she tutored “Principles of Finance” and became a Supplemental Instructor where she assisted college professors teaching this subject. She is Series 7, 63 and 65 registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is licensed to sell long term care, annuities, life and health insurance.
Outside of work, Livi likes to engage her competitive spirit by playing volleyball at Richmond Volleyball Club. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, being active, volunteering, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and cat Mitzi.
