Charlie Davis, AIF® FIRST VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTMENTS

In 1986, Charlie started his career with Legg Mason, which later became Smith Barney. He joined the Greensboro office of Davenport & Company with seven of his former colleagues in 2009.  As an Advisor who has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation — through training and meeting the high standards of the program — Charlie is committed to putting the needs of his clients first, implements a prudent process into his practice in order to protect their assets, and conducts his practice with integrity. Charlie has pledged to be honest, fair and accountable and to deliver a great client experience each and every time.

Charlie graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Elon University and advanced his studies at University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a native and resident of High Point, North Carolina.

Active in his community, Charlie is currently a member of the River Landing Board of Trustees and the Presbyterian Homes Investment Committee. He also serves on the Advisory Board of The Fitness Center at UNC Regional Hospital. He was previously a member of the Triad Rotary Club for almost 30 years, holding various leadership positions and in 2017, he served as Chairman of the Class of ’72 Elon Homecoming Reunion Committee.
