Will joined Davenport in January 2025. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Financial Advisor at Truist Investments since 2018. Before joining Truist, Will spent four years as a financial analyst with CSX, where he provided analytical support for corporate budgeting, capital allocations, corporate strategy, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations, while regularly supporting a large group of internal clients from small budget owners up to the CFO.
Will is Series 7 and 66 registered with FINRA. He graduated from University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and he received a Master’s degree in Management from Wake Forest University. Will has also earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation.
He currently serves as Board Chair for the Field School of Charlottesville board of directors and is a member of finance committee for the Frontier Culture Museum Foundation board of directors. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, skiing, hiking, volunteering, listening to music, and keeping close tabs on his favorite sports teams, the Virginia Cavaliers and the Washington Commanders.
