Ryan entered the financial services industry in 2008 when he joined Branch Banking &Trust (now Truist Financial Corporation) in Charlotte, North Carolina. He had great exposure to both the retail and commercial side of the banking industry. In 2012, he transitioned to the BB&T Wealth platform where his role was to provide an advisory level of service in areas related to client’s banking relationships, credit structuring needs, investment options, insurance, trust and fiduciary needs, and estate planning concerns.

Ryan graduated from The University of Tennessee with a BA in Economics. He is Series 7 and 66 registered with FINRA and is also licensed to sell insurance products.

Ryan and his wife, Lindsey, have two children, Molly and Brandon. The majority of his time spent outside of work is devoted to his church, family and the community. Ryan is a member of the Midlothian Rotary Club (District 7600) where he has served as the club’s President, Director, and Membership Chairman. He is also a regular volunteer with the Junior Achievement of Central Virginia program, Feed More, Lighthouse Family Retreat, Shalom Farms and Special Olympics Virginia. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys playing golf, carpentry, boating, skiing, camping and fly-fishing.
