Briggs Beadell, Managing Director, began his career at Craigie Incorporated in 1977 before joining Davenport in 1991. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Richmond.
Chris Blair, Senior Vice President, began his career at Davenport in September 1983 after selling credit and life/accident insurance to banks, auto dealers, and home improvement companies for three years. He graduated from Wake Forest University in 1977 with a BA in psychology.
Kevin Boll, Senior Vice President, began his career at Davenport in 1997 in the taxable trading department and later moved to institutional sales. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and is a generalist, selling both taxable and tax-free bonds. He graduated from Southern Methodist University.
Duke Dolan, Managing Director, began his career at Davenport in 1993. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia in 1992 and his MBA from the University of Richmond.
Robbie Gragnani, Senior Vice President, started at Davenport in 2006. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Robbie trades taxable bonds including CDs, corporate bonds, U. S. Treasuries, U.S. government agency bonds and preferred securities.
Nadine Harris, Senior Vice President, originally worked at General Reinsurance in Seattle/San Francisco for nine years and joined the finance industry in 1997 at Branch Cabell. She began working at Davenport in 1999, where she is currently an Operations Liaison and Client Service Associate. She graduated from Kinman College in Wenatchee, WA.
Susan Hollister, Senior Vice President, began her career at Craigie Inc. in Richmond, VA, in 1986. After living in Cleveland, OH, and Reno, NV, Susan returned to Richmond in 1997 and joined Davenport, where she is currently a Retail Liaison. She graduated from Mary Washington College in 1983 with a BA in history, and currently serves on the UMW College of Business Advisory Board.
Lucy Hooper, Executive Vice President and Director of Fixed Income, began her career at First & Merchants National Bank in 1973 in Richmond, VA. She joined the Fixed Income Department of Davenport in 1981 as an institutional bond salesman. In 2000, she became head of the Fixed Income Department. Lucy is a former board member and Chair of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB).
Marion Kastenbaum, Associate Vice President, joined Davenport as a client services floater in 2010 and later moved to Fixed Income. She graduated from James Madison University in 2010 and interned at the Collegiate School Development Office during the summer after graduation.
Joseph Lombard III, Senior Vice President, began his career with Davenport in August 1999, and joined the Bond Department in 2002. He trades and underwrites municipal securities throughout the U.S. He received his bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon College and currently serves as president of the Bond Club of Virginia.
Rick Looney, First Vice President, joined Davenport in 2002. Prior to Davenport, he held various positions within the investments department of Central Fidelity Bank in Richmond, VA. Originally from Alabama, he graduated from Florida State University in 1991, and obtained his MBA from Lehigh University in 1992.
Justin Parker, Trading Assistant, joined Davenport in 2019. He focuses on trading and underwriting municipal bonds. Prior to joining Davenport, he began his career at MicroVentures, a venture capital and private equity startup in Austin, TX. Justin graduated from Longwood University in 2016 with a degree in finance and economics.
Joe Paucke, Senior Vice President, began his career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. before joining Davenport in 1997. He is responsible for the trading and underwriting of municipal bonds. He received his bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1980 and his MBA from Georgia State University in 1987.
Sam Sweeney, Client Service Associate, began his career at Fulton Financial in Lancaster, Pennsylvania before joining 1st Source Bank in South Bend, Indiana. He moved to Richmond and joined Davenport’s Client Services department in 2020 and then joined the Fixed Income department in 2021. Sam graduated from Ithaca College in 2018 with a degree in business administration and a concentration in finance.
