Brad has served as a Financial Advisor at Davenport & Company for more than 20 years. He is the Branch Manager of Davenport’s Farmville office and serves on Davenport’s Board of Directors
Brad begins each new business relationship by listening to his clients’ needs in order to determine if his services are a good fit. Once he has a clear understanding of their life goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon, he determines the proper asset allocation and diversification for a portfolio. Brad helps clients select the most appropriate investments, which may include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and professional money managers. Once a portfolio is established, he will discuss the level of contact they should expect, along with the managing and monitoring of investments. This is designed to help keep people on track to meet their financial goals.
Brad offers comprehensive investment planning, retirement plan analysis, and professional portfolio management solutions. Each client will have access to Davenport Asset Management or other professional money managers, as well as mutual funds and annuities for constructing portfolios. Additionally, he offers the expertise to build custom stock and bond portfolios and strategies to create reliable income. In the end, his objective is simple: to help clients achieve their individual goals.
Brad earned a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He and his wife, Virginia, have two children.
