Prior to joining Davenport in July 2023, Kyle was a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones for two years. Before that he gained valuable experience at Appalachian Cast Products where he was the Production Manager. In this role, he fostered client relationships and worked in partnership with them to facilitate production planning in accordance with their needs.
Kyle’s goal is to work with clients to establish a sound financial strategy and a personal relationship, to grow together for generations to come. Kyle earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from Emory & Henry College. He is Series 7 and 66 registered with FINRA and he is licensed to offer life and long term care insurance.
Throughout his life, Kyle has found a passion for helping people and being a resource to his community. Kyle is a founding board member of the Central Appalachia Climbers Coalition and has served as President since 2019. He also has a passion for real estate and has found a niche in restoring historic buildings through his company Hawking Holdings. He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys rock climbing, riding his bike, and golfing. In 2011, Kyle thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail which taught him independence, perseverance and that if you work hard, you can achieve your goals.
Kyle King is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to offer services to clients who reside in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. He is licensed to offer insurance and annuity products to residents in North Carolina and Virginia.
