Senior Public Finance Professionals James M. Traudt, Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Public Finance, began his career in public finance in 1980 with James J. Lowrey & Co. in New York. Mr. Traudt has also been employed at Dillon, Read & Co (New York) and Wheat First Securities, Inc. (Richmond, Virginia) before joining Davenport & Company LLC in 1998. Mr. Traudt specializes in complex local government and state credits. Prior to his work in public finance, Mr. Traudt was a Manager of Finance for Northern California Power Agency. Mr. Traudt attended the University of Nebraska. Edward F. Cole, III, Senior Vice President, began his career in public finance in 2000 with Davenport & Company LLC. Mr. Mason is a public finance generalist who covers local governments in Maryland and Virginia. Prior to his joining Davenport, Mr. Mason was a Senior Director and Credit Analyst for Fitch Ratings in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
